THE SPINE AND NERVOUS SYSTEM

Your nervous system controls and coordinates every function of your body.

A large portion of your nervous system passes through your spine.

It is your spinal cord that acts as the major channel traveling down inside your spinal column and braches off into spinal nerves at various levels of your spine.

These spinal nerves then exit between individual spinal vertebrae and go to the vaious parts of your body.

To be healthy it is essential that your nervous system function properly and free from any interference caused by injuries or subluxations (is when your vertebrae has moved out of position and creates pressure on your spinal nerves or irritates spinal nerves).

A fundamental goal of Chiropractic care is to correct the vertebral subluxation complex, an interference to normal function which can result in lack of health.

Chiropractors are the only health care providers who specialize in locating, correcting, and preventing subluxations.
